First Assembly of God

Jesus Loves you!

God Bless you!

a letter from the pastor...

Please come and worship with us...

We're excited to tell you about First Assembly of God. We are a growing church that loves to tell people about Jesus!

At a time when there are so many things going on in the world and it is full of uncertainties, there is one thing that remains constant--Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He provided for us the means of obtaining salvation -- that is our message.

Our congregation has existed since 1942, although I'm sure you can imagine there have been a lot of changes, including location. Since February of 1984 I have been serving at First Assembly as pastor. We have a full program of activities, ministering to all ages from Nursery to Seniors. We are committed to being here for the community. We have a full-time youth pastor on staff ministering to the youth and college age (including an on campus organization called Chi Alpha at Truman State University).

We invite you to visit with us at First Assembly and meet the wonderful and caring people who are a part of this congregation.

Our Mission is in Evangelism, Ministry, & Worship...
"Not wanting anyone to perish, we encourage one another to exalt our God!"
